Used a flashlight to spot soot, indicating combustion issues. Removed and cleaned the blower, including blades, compartment, belts, and pulleys. Vacuumed heat vents for efficient operation. Replaced disposable filters, noting size and type, and ensuring proper disposal. Inspected combustion air openings, flue pipe, drive belt, pilot, flame sensor, vents, panels, drain lines, and electronic thermostat. Your heating system is now prepped for the rest of the cold weather.
