Diagnosed a heating issue where the system was not blowing warm air in a Trane XR95 furnace. Identified a malfunctioning igniter and a clogged filter restricting airflow. Replaced the igniter with a Trane OEM part, model IGN00145, and installed a new 3M Filtrete air filter, model UA23DC-6, to ensure proper airflow. We have the annual service plan for our 2 zone systems, and the technician spent extra time testing and waiting for different heat cycle to complete. He found some old error codes that would reduce the life span of the inducer, so he adjusted the settings for optimal performance. Worth the time and money. Edison has also been great with emergency service when we needed it a year or two ago (parts were still under warranty).
