Why is my furnace not heating my home in Warren?

Examining your circuit breakers is a good first step. The most frequent problem that can result in furnace problems is a tripped circuit breaker. Even if your furnace runs on propane or natural gas, you should check the electric source right away when troubleshooting.

Make sure the filters in your furnace are also clean. The reason it matters is that your furnace needs a steady flow of clean air to heat your house. Unbelievable as it may seem, a dirty air filter can prevent your HVAC system from operating because the heat pump won't receive the air it needs to warm your home from the forced air system.

Additionally, you should check the thermostat's settings. You should make sure that your thermostat is set to "ON" if your furnace won't turn on. You might need to replace your batteries because most thermostats run on batteries. The best course of action would be to replace your batteries at least once a year or as required.

How much does it cost to replace a HVAC system near Warren?

With a national average of $7,000, the price to replace an HVAC unit ranges from $5,000 to $10,000. Typically, this cost includes labor as well as the installation of a new central air conditioner and gas furnace. For a 2,000 square-foot single-story home, add an extra $2,100 if you also need to replace the ductwork.

What causes HVAC to stop working near Warren?

There are a variety of explanations that may explain why your air conditioner stopped functioning. It might be time to replace the unit, especially if it's more than ten years old. But if your unit is rather new it might be your thermostat, air filter, condenser, or compressor is having issues.

The first thing you should do if your central air isn't working is check your thermostat. Your thermostat is like the brain of your system, but if it's unintentionally turned off, it is powerless to control anything. You can avoid a lot of hassle and money by making sure the switch is in the "on" rather than "off" position. Your thermostat's batteries might also be the cause of the problem if the switch is set to "on" and it is programmable. Please make sure to adhere to the manual's instructions when replacing used batteries. The thermostat may malfunction if the batteries are installed incorrectly.

Todays schedule visit has solidified Edison as a topnotch outfit to me. The professionalism displayed bu the dispatch technician is testament to the crew as a whole. He made me at ease with the care he took to make sure both my family and himself were safe. He took the time to walk me through every step of the maintenance visit to assure that every thing was above board. The knowledge he showed in both answering my questions as well as why certain procedures taken to perform the tasks at hand was appreciated. I would highly recommend that if you have any heating and cooling needs to give them a call. Thank you David quinones for a great job and making the visit painless.
