Had someone come from another plumbing/hvac contractor. They spent max 5 mins on the boiler and said it needed replacing, no reports or nothing then charged me $200 saying it was for diagnostic but the marketed diagnostic fee was $90. Manny and his apprentice said there is nothing wrong with the boiler. Hard to find honest companies and techs around here. Definitely will be calling Edison for all future issues.

Jabrill was great. He was friendly and courteous (used booties when entering the house) and his inspection was very thorough. Unrelated to him, I am frustrated by the scheduling issues I experienced. Although I clearly told the scheduler that I would not be the person home and to use an alternate phone number, which I gave, this information was apparently not communicated from the scheduler to the rest of those involved. They called me at my number and when I did not answer, cancelled the appointment because they could not confirm that I was home. Again, I clearly stated that mine was not the number to use that day. They were able to reschedule me that day, but for 7:30pm, which was well after the original window. They need to work on communications within their company.

Quinn went over and beyond to not only make sure our equipment was working properly, but also safely. Quinn indicated that a carbon monoxide reading was exceeding limits in our home. Quinn checked our stack at the base of our furnace and water heater to determine if there was a blockage which wasn’t found. He exhausted all possible reasons, including within the attic. His last attempt was to go on roof and check the chimney stack with cap on roof. Roof work was performed a month ago. Quinn found that the cap was not on correct, as a cupping action to the exhaust was taking place. Upon reinstalling the cap properly, the carbon monoxide readings inproved. Thanks to Quinn for his professionalism, combined with his care for humanity.
