Arrived at call to look a water leak coming from humidifier. Inspected humidifier to see where the leak was coming form saw that the pad was due and was holding already large amounts of water. Cleaned and replaced pad and ran and tested unit and got no further leaks coming from the system.

Arrived at calm to perform furnace maintenance. Customer asked about a gurgling sounded coming from her unit looked at it and there was a little extra water in the inducer so I pulled it out and made sure all the water came out while also seeing that the unit is pitched forwarded. After that the unit no longer made that gurgling sound

This is no reflection on our technician (he was great and very thorough!), but we were surprised to learn how much the price increased for our filter. It was $40 more than 6 months ago while the price for the same filter remained the same on Amazon. We opted to replace it ourselves rather than have him do it but preferred the convenience of having Edison do it in the past.
